This Summer, we are experimenting with something new.

We have a Special Series from Shanghai

“In Context with Anita Xu” – a series of one-on-on interviews in Chinese.

You can find an English transcript here.

Anita is a 20 something media-savvy professional –  born and raised in Shanghai. She graduated from Fudan University before going to Syracuse University for a Masters’ degree in arts journalism.

Five years ago, Anita met Mable in New York and quickly joined our team – first as a blogger, then a social media producer.  She also started a podcast in Chinese, reaching many fans in China before moving back to Shanghai – her hometown.

Anita has had a couple of different jobs in journalism and digital marketing.  She kept changing. Well, not just jobs, but career focus.

It seems like she and her friends, all in their 20s, are in constant career transition. Why? Anita decided to find out.

In this Episode #1 -“Why Risk It? “ Anita talks with her friend Xu Ke.

This is his story. He will tell it in Mandarin Chinese.
