Helen Lin Sun is the founder and principal of Sparc Capital Management Ltd and Octave Capital Ltd in Hong Kong.
After 26 years of managing the financial and manufacturing operations of her family business -Milo’s Knitwear (International) Ltd, Sun has parlayed her corporate finance and strategic investment success into building a private-client based fixed-income mortgage fund in Hong Kong.
Born in Hong Kong and educated in the U.S., Sun was inspired by her father’s business vision for the greater China market in the 80s and joined the family’s global manufacturing enterprise after serving four years as Assistant Treasurer in the Corporate Banking Group at Chase Manhattan Bank. Sun is deeply committed to helping her clients achieve financial success.
A mother of two sons, Helen Lin Sun is devoted to developing the full potential and human development of children. Sun’s pride and joy come from seeing her sons thrive and rendering care to her elderly mother.
Sun is a classical pianist, an avid tennis player, an education advocate, and a philanthropist in arts and culture. She serves on the Board of Trustees at Westminster School and the Development Committee of Hong Kong Arts Festival Society. Sun received her MBA from Columbia Business School and Bachelor of Science in management and music from Boston College.
